Gucci X The North Face Announce New Collab
Camping made chic.
A few months back major fashion house Gucci released small teasers on Tiktok and Instagram in the aim of hinting at a new collaboration with outwear brand The North Face. The long-awaited collaboration has finally been announced, debuting a range that highlights exploration mixed with 70’s prints, and bringing these to the lifestyle element of the North Face’s brand.
The new outerwear collection features original North Face designs from the 1970s and mixes these with floral and monogram iterations in an aesthetic that is in keeping with Gucci’s current look. The practical and functional garments will comprise of anything from goose feather-filled padded gilets, bomber jackets, fleeces and Windbreakers. Alongside this branded t-shirts and sweatshirts will also feature a new collab logo mixing the dome shape of TNF and the red and green of Gucci.
The range doesn’t stop there as the brands will also be releasing a pair of dual-logoed hiking boots which will be available in three colorways: black, cream and brown. As well as branded luggage, which is comprised of sustainable ECONYL material and will be available in 8 new iterations that debut new graphics and a hiking-style backpack silhouette These functional bags come in two sizes whilst the rest of the collection features a large double-branded belt bag and an XXL belt bag all available in a selection of new graphics. Finally, Gucci’s well-loved Jackie bag also features throughout the new campaign release.
The collection is set to debut in China first and then will be available to purchase through Gucci’s online store in 2021. In the meantime, why not check out the campaign video below:
