Gucci Goes Botanical With Latest Epilogue Collection

Incorporating the work of ‘Gardner of fashion’ Ken Scott.

POSTED BY ELLIE CORRIGAN

Gucci has provided us with some essential Spring vibes escorted by their latest Epilogue collection. The collection is inspired by the late ‘Gardner of fashion’ Ken Scott, transporting us to the ’70s with these modern yet retro designs.

Featuring bold colors and intense prints we see floral everything, Ken Scott’s Peonies, Poppies, Sunflowers, you name it, give us a nostalgic sense of optimism this season.  The campaign shot at photographer Mark Squires Home studio casts the bold prints dreamily across the cushions, wallpaper, curtains, and floors.

The ready-to-wear collection features women and menswear as well as accessories and bags. Featuring lively printed gowns, Bell bottoms and oversized collar tie tops to give us that signature 70’s silhouette. Lucky for us, the floral goodness doesn’t end with the garments, we see the signature Gucci Loafers with a reimagined botanical aesthetic. Don’t forget the headscarves, what better way to round of a spring fit than garden-inspired luxury silk accompanied by the legendary Gucci Logo.

You can shop the launch on the Gucci site. Along with the collection, you can also take a listen to the special episode of their Gucci Podcast, dedicated in honor of the legendary designer, to discuss Scott’s legacy and life.
