LAUREN TO SUKI
Tell us about your style and a piece of clothing that is very Suki-esque?
Hands-down, sneakers are my thing, and I love playing with different hair colours. Accessories need to be ‘bling bling’.
Describe a typical day in your life
Eat, sleep, rave, repeat
Where do you eat and rave in Hong Kong?
My favourite restaurant is Tsui Wah, and the place to party is Volar, which I also shoot for.
What music are you listening to right now?
Kiesza- Hideaway
How did you start modelling and DJing?
I started just for fun! I went to makeup school and my teacher asked me to model for her, so since then I’ve continued modelling. I started DJing because I really love to party, so I wanted to learn!
SUKI TO LAUREN
As a photographer, where do you go to get inspired?
I am constantly on fashion websites such as: Fucking Young, C-Heads, Fizzy Mag and Galore Mag, for inspiration. I also look up to a lot of photographers! Hands down, I love shooting models.
What kind of fashion or style are you most into?
I don’t have a specific style I like. My mood constantly changes and that inspires what I want to shoot. One day I could feel like shooting something super sexy, the other it could be something more url.
Who’s your favourite photographer, and how did they trigger your passion for photography?
I was immediately in love with Nirrimi’s photography: her pictures made me want to pick up my camera in the first place. Since then, my style of photography has changed. For party photography, I love Cobrasnake, and also his Wildfox Couture look book shots. In fashion photography,
I look up to Zoey Grossman, Ted Emmons, Jason Lee Parry, and Kesler Tran.
What are you most into: photographing, partying, shopping?
Probably photography, or looking for photography inspiration, such as going on clothing and artist blogs!
Are you loving your lifestyle now?
Helll yeaaaah! ð
