Gabriela Bee: From Comedy to Heartfelt Pop
A journey to authenticity.
In a world where entertainment often feels like a polished facade, Gabriela Bee, at the young age of 17, is breaking through with raw, heartfelt pop music. Best known as part of the EH Bee family, Gabriela is stepping into her own spotlight, sharing giddy pop songs that echo her personal journey.
“I’ve really poured my guts out with my music. People might have no idea who I am but I want them to know my heart when they listen to these songs,” Gabriela expresses, giving a glimpse into the emotional depth of her upcoming tracks.
The first song marking this new chapter is 'Look At You Now,' a lush and evocative piece. Originally penned as an ode to her younger self, Gabriela found a new connection to the lyrics as they now resonate with the person she has become. Describing it as warm, comforting, and nostalgic, she envisions it as a song that "sounds like it could be played at the end of a Disney movie."
Drawing inspiration from timeless artists like Queen, The Beatles, and Elton John, as well as modern icons Billie Eilish and Lana Del Rey, Gabriela plans to release a series of tracks leading up to an EP and a full-length album. With a broad musical palette and a desire to connect with her audience, she envisions a lasting career in the industry. "I definitely see myself at 60 years old, still being on stage Paul McCartney-style," she grins.
Having grown up as part of the EH Bees, known for their comedy skits across various platforms, Gabriela is no stranger to the spotlight. However, her transition into music is a deliberate choice, with a focus on authenticity. Despite the pressure and expectations, she emphasizes, "I just try to be my unapologetic self to let people know there is real on the internet."
While her online presence has garnered immense popularity, Gabriela has recently pulled back from other content creation to concentrate on her music. This isn't her first foray into the music scene, as she had a rebellious anthem, 'Leave Them Kids Alone,' and even toured with Walk Off The Earth as a teenager.
The shift from comedy to heartfelt pop is a challenge Gabriela embraces. "There’s always an aspect of feeling like I have to prove myself, but I just have to keep reminding myself that no matter how many hate comments I get or how many streams I rack up, I’m doing this because I love to sing."
With aspirations to perform at Wembley Stadium and a genuine desire to be a positive force, Gabriela Bee is on a journey of self-discovery through music, inviting her audience to join her on this authentic and emotive ride.
