Fashion Students Produce And Donate Masks For Coronavirus
A group of students in Prague are dedicating their time and materials to supplying masks.
As a number of fashion brands and retailers have closed down during this period, a group of fashion design students in Prague have decided to use their talent and creativity to those who need it.
The necessity of face masks has been growing rapidly, with dozens being stolen from hospitals. The initiative for this group of students to produce masks using their own resources and sending them to hospitals, retirement homes, volunteers, or any other people in need, has come as a ray of sunshine amongst an otherwise bleak world.
This has been particularly effective considering the government of the Czech Republic has issued that everyone wears face masks to prevent further spread of the pandemic, whilst they haven’t actually provided any.
This initiative is clearly one showing the power of the creative community and echoing the social responsibility that many fashion brands have endeavored to partake in this year.
