It’s Officially Jacket Season

The jackets I’ll be living in this fall.

I’m a firm believer that a jacket can make or break an outfit. We’ve all seen those TikToks about people being devastated that they have to cover up a cute outfit with a boring jacket. I’m about to save you from the same fate.

A good jacket should be warm, cute, and practical enough to survive the weather. That’s why I love transitional jackets so much — they’re easy to throw on when it gets colder without completely taking over your outfit.

A personal favorite of mine is the trench coat. It feels polished and sophisticated while still being cozy enough for those colder days, making it a total staple in my wardrobe. I also love how many different styles and colors they come in. Cropped, midi, full-length — there’s genuinely one for everyone. I have a pink midi-length trench coat that I wear to absolute death throughout fall and winter. It’s super girly and feminine, but still practical when the temperature drops.

Another classic I can never get enough of is the leather jacket. They never really go out of style, and I think it’s easy to see why. They work with pretty much any aesthetic and instantly make an outfit feel a little more sleek and put together. Mine is my go-to going-out jacket when I want something that looks cool without having to think too hard about it.

Then there’s the one I’m currently obsessed with: the suede jacket. Suede is having a major moment, and I’m fully on board. I have a tan suede bomber that I’ve been wearing nonstop, especially with blue denim and Ugg boots. It has that effortless fall feeling that makes even a really simple outfit look more put together. Just make sure you leave this one at home on the rainy days...
