French luxury fashion house Dior have announced that 2021 US Open winner Emma Raducanu is set to become an ambassador for the brand.

Raducanu has been spotted at publicity events sporting looks from several collections, including the 'No Time to Die' premiere. Raducanu wore a Greek-inspired dress designed by Maria Grazia Chuiri from Dior’s Cruise 2022 collection.

The 18-year-old tennis champ has also been scouted by Tiffany & Co as a brand ambassador, and has appeared at high profile events like the Met Gala. She has shot to fame since taking home at the top prize at the US Open 2021 having won fourteen consecutive sets, a historic feat.

In an interview with British Vogue, Raducanu stated that it was through conversations with Chuiri about Dior’s feminist leanings that she felt comfortable supporting the brand.

“Maria Grazia’s work empowers women to feel confident in the iconic Dior cut, which I feel is very unique. The sincerity of her approach and the way she turns shows into collective and meaningful events unquestionably influenced my choice.”
