Feeling your best, means you win regardless of the outcome.

Ellesse the iconic Italian sportswear brand just launched their 'For The Win' campaign and here are all the juicy tidbits. It is only fitting that Ellesse's campaign is about winning, after a remarkable 45% revenue increase back in 2016 for a brand that seemed like history but in a twist of events, quickly became cultural hype is quite impressive. Making a whopping comeback through platforms like ASOS and Instagram.

Ellesse has appointed leading global fashion and lifestyle agency Laird+Partners and acclaimed fashion photographer Cass Bird to create this new brand position, identifying a new platform ‘For The Win’ that will heighten the brand, and reinforce founder Leonardo Servadio’s vision that looking and feeling your best allows you to win regardless of the outcome.

This particular campaign focuses on diverse global talent and introduces the likes of Raleigh Ritchie aka Jacob Anderson, famously known for his role in Game of Thrones as 'Greyworm'. According to Ellesse, his personality in being unique and always finding a way to win aligns with the brand's morals. We also see Princess Nokia, a musician famously known for kicking stereotypes to the curb with her feminist approach to rap music. The campaign sees Princess Nokia for her alternative take on style and her inspirational approach to life, she is an embodiment of the 'For The Win' mantra. These two are to name a few among the many other faces for this campaign, and they all bring their unique flavor to the plate.

According to Ellesse, ‘For The Win’ embodies a way of thinking that has remained synonymous with the brand throughout its history, and harks back to an emotional mindset that is lived and breathed not just in sport, but in everyday life. Built on style and attitude, ‘For The Win’ is energetic and expressive, exuding confidence from the slopes to the street.

Combining the new campaign platform ‘For The Win’ with the AW19 product offering, the latest collection is divided into two central themes; ‘Urban Tailored’ and ‘Urban Ski’.

The collection boasts of Leonardo Servadio’s strict 'Urban Tailored' designs. He takes classic tailoring techniques and applies them to modern streetwear, creating pieces in tune with the 80s and 90s, paying homage to formfitting and overstated colorways, alongside their timeless adaptations of the Ellesse logo. The vision of the AW19 collection is 'feeling your best, allows you to win regardless of the outcome', and we couldn't agree more.
