Every vacation warrants cute outfits, and that doesn’t exclude the trip to the airport. Though it is natural to want to go through TSA in sweatpants and a hoodie, I’ve started noticing how celebrities, who are always on the move, are giving us much-needed inspiration to make our travel outfits both easy and stylish without trying too hard. I find myself paying attention to the small, stylish choices that completely change the tone of the outfit.

For me, the key to an outfit that is both comfortable and put together is sticking with loose, soft, and easy pieces that feel stylized. I like the idea of stepping off the flight to the streets of our destination without needing to completely change. I personally love an oversized sweater paired with a big pair of jeans, or we can take inspiration from Julianne Moore, who rocked a monochrome black outfit – inherently simple, but cohesive nonetheless.

The formula for a celebrity-inspired airport look is just a loose pant and top that can become transitional outerwear.

At the end of the day, when I’m picking a travel outfit, I’m looking for the balance between comfort and feeling like I didn’t give up on style before arriving at a beautiful destination.
