Eastpak Drops First Collab With Ader Error

Minimalism Meets Functionality.

POSTED BY MIRABELA THÜS

For the first time ever Eastpak teams up with the Seoul-based brand Ader Error. The tree-piece unisex collection includes Eastpak’s classic Padded Pak’r backpack reinvented in true Ader Error minimalism. As two new pieces the collection introduces the Ader Sling backpack and the Ader Crossbody, focussing on the multifunctional aspect that has been highlighted throughout Eastpak’s entire brand history.

Ader Error’s simplicity is bringing a different take on minimalism to the world of fashion, proving that “simple“ doesn’t always equal basic. Remember the saying “less is more“? Ader Error and Eastpak are here to prove it.

It’s not only visually appealing, but when we take a closer look we really see how much thought was put into making the bags as functional as possible.

The reinvented Padded Pak’r features a main compartment with a mesh divider, a front pocket with rope closure, and additional pockets. Ader’s Padded is fitted with a padded airmesh back panel, two adjustable shoulder straps, and a fold-away rain cover.

Ader’s Sling is a single-strapped backpack that features a main compartment with a mesh divider, a front pocket with rope closure, and detachable stash pockets. Other smart features include a detachable wallet and a front pocket that transforms into a bum bag. The design is rounded off with an added airmesh back panel and a fold-away rain cover.

As for the Crossbody, the bag features a mini pouch for storing your wireless earphones. The main compartment with flap and buckle closure includes a mesh divider, extra stash pockets, and a detachable pocket which makes organization within the bag so much easier.

The result is fashionably satisfying simplicity and a collection that you actually can use.

The collection drops on December 19th and can be purchased at selected Eastpak stores, as well as online at eastpak.com.
