The editorial “Early Afternoons” explores the underground techno and rave scene of London’s youth. Young people generated a booming scene of infamous after-rave parties, reaching for the lasers until the very early hours.

It’s one a clock in the afternoon in a dimly lit living room in Hackney, where the music still keeps on going. Capturing moments of freedom and ecstasy, but also intimacy, the images sweep us into a world where daily anxiety and pressure are gone and truly living in the moment is celebrated.
