New Boots And Charity Donations
With just a few days left until Pride month kicks off, we are seeing a number of brands release their offerings with bright colors and funky designs. Dr. Martens has unveiled a new version of their iconic 1460 boots with rainbow details. The brand is also donating $25,000 USD to The Trevor Project working with LGBTQ+ youth in suicide prevention.
When you first look at the boots, they look similar to the classic boot however there are a number of changes. Most notably is a small pride flag on the lateral heel, the heel loop is also in rainbow colors. A subtle but fun feature is the stitching across the boot upper which has been done using different rainbow colors of thread. The pair of boots come with two pairs of laces, one which is black and the other is rainbow laces.
