Dr.Martens And Undercover Unite Film And Design In Their Latest 1461 Collaboration
The shoes bringing 70s cinema to the forefront.
Previously collaborating in Dr. Martens 1460s 60th anniversary in 2020, brands Dr. Marten and Japanese label Undercover are teaming up again for a fresh take on their 1461 Derby.
The new ensemble combines film and careful craftsmanship to design three shoes that capture Jun Takahashi's appreciation of 70s cinema. The 1491 3-eye shoe comes in colors black, cherry red, and blue. It features the recognizable grid check pattern from the Undercover archive, which can be located on the leather uppers. Also featured on the shoe are co-branded insoles, complete with Undercover's signature slogan, "WE MAKE NOISE NOT CLOTHES," on the heels. True to the brand is also Dr. Martens traditional yellow welt stitching accompanied with their sleek, premium leather from the Made In England collection, and complete with black cord laces.
So, if you're looking to add to that Dr. Marten collection, this three-shoe collab is to be released January 13th. Head over to Dr. Martens online store to purchase a pair of your own.
