Doja Cat Drips in Swarovski Crystals For ‘Del Mar’ Visual
Find out who was behind this stunning styling.
Puerto Rican reggaeton singer Ozuna (also known as Juan Rosada) dropped a visual for his latest single “Del Mar,” featuring the Australian singer Sia and rapper Doja Cat. Already sitting at 11 million views since being uploaded on 16 October, this futuristic vision is full of breath-taking costume design and compelling shots that were directed by Nuno Gomes.
Surrounded by elegant jellyfish and crystal-clear waters, rapper Doja Cat sits in a light purple clamshell wearing hand-sewn custom pieces created just for this Atlantis inspired underwater dream. Costume designer Brett Alan Nelson, who has worked with Doja on previous videos, was chosen for the job.
Looking like underwater Kings and Queens throughout, Doja, Sia, and Ozuna are dripping in pearls, charms, and Swarovski crystal-covered bikinis and accessories. The visual effortless highlights the design contributions from Chrishabana, Natalia Fedner, and House of Malakai.
Chrishabana shows off the brand's work in a lengthy Instagram post, expressing their love and hard work on the intricate sterling silver pearl necklace, headpieces, and the show-stopping bra and panty set worn by Doja, covered in tiny pearls, gold starfish and clamshells. We think it is a masterpiece worthy of any goddess.
