Disney Unveils ‘Freakier Friday’ Teaser Trailer

Jamie Lee Curtis & Lindsay Lohan return in sequel.

Disney has officially dropped the teaser trailer and poster for Freakier Friday, the highly anticipated sequel to the beloved 2003 body-swap comedy. Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan return as mother-daughter duo Tess and Anna Coleman, bringing a new twist to their time-tested chaos. The film will hit theaters on August 8, 2025.

Lightning Strikes Twice

Picking up years after their first freaky switch, Anna is now a mother herself, navigating the complexities of parenthood and a blended family. With a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter, Anna finds herself dealing with familiar challenges—until she and Tess realize history might be repeating itself.
