Disney+ Drops Ms. Marvel First Trailer
Kamala Khan is finally joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Marvel has released the first full-length trailer for its upcoming series Ms. Marvel, starring Iman Vellani as main character Kamala Khan. The teenager will be Marvel Studios' first on-screen Muslim super-hero.
In the new trailer 16-years-old Pakistani-American Kamala leads an ordinary existence. Between school and family duties, the young woman dreams about adventures, super-heroes and idolizes Carol Danvers. Eventually, Kamala discovers she has a range of superpowers too and tries to find a balance between keeping her family happy, being a student and being a super-hero.

As readers noticed, Kamala’s powers seem different from the comics. In the series, her abilities are more cosmic in nature and allow her to make energy structures. In the comics, Kamala has the power to embiggen parts of her body.
