Dior Showcased Latest Collection Through Live Stream
Christian Dior livestreamed its autumn-winter 2021-2022 haute couture show from Paris.
On the 5th of July fashionistas from all across the globe were able to follow the Dior show that was aired live from Paris.
After an entire season of virtual events, Dior has now returned to the runway. Due to the pandemic the French luxury house too had to adapt and find a format for their shows that allows them to share their new collections with the world.
In their latest fashion show the brand once more displayed the skills in terms of creativity and boundary-pushing that it has mastered throughout the past year that was marked by the pandemic.
Their show highlighted the color gold, that was tied together with greens and browns, adding a nod to last year’s forested scene "Le Mythe Dior", which gave prominence to miniature versions of gowns that were hand-delivered to a magical forest. The current autumn-winter collection featured combinations of pieces with different textures such as wool and mesh. Models showcased the garments on a huge u-shaped runway that was encircled by massive walls which appeared to be adorned with intricate woven tapestries.
