Desigual Studio Crashes Into FW25

With celebrity firepower.

POSTED BY WAN B

Barcelona turned into a cultural fever dream last night as Desigual officially dropped Desigual Studio, its new premium line that remixes the brand’s rebellious DNA with luxury tailoring and noble fabrics. The show went down at the Nau de Turbines de les Tres Xemeneies, with more than 500 guests and a front row stacked with fashion royalty. Think Edward Enninful, Becky G, Lila Moss, Nicki Nicole, Paris Jackson, Ester Expósito, Kayla Shyx, and basically half of Europe’s It-girl circuit—from France’s Clara Berry to Spain’s María Pombo and Germany’s Ischtar Isik.

The runway climaxed with Aydan Nix—yes, Bella and Gigi’s younger sister—making her debut in a statement look reading “Why?”. The Palestinian model transformed her walk into a manifesto for peace, channeling Desigual’s history of bold social messaging. It wasn’t just a show; it was a cultural intervention, and the audience knew it.

From Archives to Altars of Cool

Desigual Studio FW25 is all about heritage hacked with edge. Silks, leathers, mohair knits, and experimental denim brought the brand’s “Back to the Roots” ethos alive with bomber jackets lined in fur, asymmetric hand-dyed silk dresses, and the resurrection of the iconic Patch 1984 jacket, now recut in natural leather with a denim print. Oversized tailoring flirted with deconstructed silhouettes, while bolimanía—the brand’s iconic scribble-meets-illustration print—returned in a slick, premium reboot.

Accessories turned into artworks. Leather bags were sculpted like mountains and oceans, sneakers looked hand-finished and raw, while boots fused denim with natural hair for a jolt of street-meets-art energy. Jewelry doubled as talismans: question marks, hearts, and the word “Why?” became metallic symbols of resistance and vulnerability.
