The Iconic Converse Chuck 70s Silhouette Serves Female Empowerment In Their SS19 Canvas Collection

With diversity, tolerance and individual self-expression being more present than ever Converse decides to stage their classic Chuck 70s silhouette as a canvas for creative mixes of genres. The "All the stories are true" campaign was implemented by a completely female team, putting the focus on female empowerment. 

The nine participating opinion leaders from the London creative scene - from the stylist, make-up artist to the creative director and project manager to the photographer - were not only behind the scenes but also in front of the camera.

The Chuck 70 appears in the current season in many different colors, materials and print patterns - as diverse as the worldwide fan base of the shoe itself. Its history full of optimism, tolerance, and creativity is written in the here and now. The highlight of the season is the Vintage Canvas Color Collection of the Chuck 70 in high and low versions. The color palette of the six sneaker models is inspired by the gently fading look of Vintage Chucks and is realized with organic canvas material.
