Dr. Orchid knew what was up
My family owns the 2016 version of Cluedo, and it's always been our staple at get-togethers. I've always been drawn to the cover art depicting all the characters, because I found them all so interesting.
Cluedo taps into my love for fashion. Growing up, picking your character was a serious business. I, like most girls, always wanted to play the girl characters, and to this day, Miss Scarlett, Mrs. Peacock and Dr. Orchid are style icons to me.
I channel Mrs. Peacock when I go to a fancy event and wear long gloves. Peacocks as a motif have always been super cool to me, and how could they not remind me of the Cluedo character?
Miss Scarlett is a popular fave, with her blonde curls and red gown. When I want to channel a bombshell look, my mind drifts to her.
But my favorite has to be Dr. Orchid, the newer addition. Pink is my favorite color, so this is hardly a surprise. I always thought her black and pink ensemble was so cool, and for me, she was the Office Siren before Office Siren was a thing.
