Many women and couples can relate to the pain Chrissy and John are feeling right now. As Chrissy tweets “Driving home from the hospital with no baby. How can this be real” thousands of friends and fans reply expressing condolences. It is heart-breaking that a child so wanted by the couple was taken too soon. They have struggled in the past to conceive, however, had their two other children, Luna and Miles, via IVF. “But everyday can’t be full of sunshine”.
Australian influencer, Emilee Hembrow, experienced something similar in July. She posted to Instagram stories sending love to Chrissy, whilst stating how receiving messages from other women has helped her to heal. She also speaks of uploading a video with her full story, thus, to further help people who may be going through the same grieving process. Both Chrissy and Emilee’s honesty about their loss is showing other women they aren’t alone when going through this tragedy. The openness of this difficult conversation supports and unites women together even in the darkest of days.
