Chanel Announces its Spring/Summer 2019 Beauty Products

It’s going to be wet.

POSTED BY ALIAA ELSHERBINI

Are you already tired of winter? Well Chanel has got you, as the high-end brand started planning its Spring/Summer 2019 makeup collection, titled “VISION D’ASIE: L’ART DU DÉTAIL”. It means, vision of Asia: The Art of details, and is inspired entirely by the brand’s very own global creative make-up artist and color designer Lucia Pica.

Pica spent a rich photographic journey in East Asia, and brought back enough awe for warm colors, details of the simplest objects and the contrast of lightening on them to translate it all into a whole new line of products.

Let’s start with the eyes and move slowly down the face. The eyes that tell a thousand stories about l’Asie with Les 9 Ombres eyeshadow palette that includes various options with glimmer colors and pearly shades. And for a fuller coverage for the eye, there is the Ombre Premiere Cream eyeshadow “in 840 Platine Bronze” for a luminous effect.

Down to the face and cheeks, there are two highlighter sticks, Baume Essentiel, a transparent and a sculpting one for different ways to define your face how you want it. 'The skin should be radiant and glowing and contoured with light, but using Baume Essentiel Sculpting and Baume Essentiel Transparent (a clear glossy stick) so it doesn’t look like ‘make-up’,' Pica told Elle. A good companion for these variants is the retractable highlighter brush.

Now to the lips. Chanel Beauty came with bright shades including Rouge Allure Velvet and Rouge Allure Liquid powder lipsticks, mixing contemporary and ancient Asia by mixing shades of colors. Exuding energy for the nails, Chanel offers two vernis colored Bleached Mauve and Neon Techno Bloom.

Feel Tokyo or Seoul’s vibe through Chanel’s SS19 beauty collection that has a wet feeling like you are not wearing any make-up at all. It will be out 7 January 2019.
