CDG Finally Unveils Its Collaborative Collection With Pokémon
The collection screams Pikachu-galore.
A little less than a month ago, CDG by COMME des GARÇONS took to Instagram to tease up an upcoming collaboration with Pokémon. The brand has now officially unveiled items from the collection, and it’s a compilation of Pikachu-galore.
The bright yellow character is incorporated on nearly every piece in some way. Said pieces include sweatshirts, matching sets, bomber jackets, collared shirts, hoodies and tees. Along with Pikachu, the legendary Pokéball motif is present and each item includes the pairing of the CDG and iconic Pokémon logos.
The collection doesn’t just stop at apparel, but includes a fun assortment of accessories. Necklaces, scarves, bucket hats, backpacks, beanies and tote bags are also within the collection, with a pair of CDG x Pokémon sneakers to finish it off. Recently, Pokémon has taken on a couple of collaborations with notable brands such as Fossil and luxury label Balmain. In the past, Pokémon has also worked with Adidas, Jeremy Scott, Levi’s and Baby-G.
The CDG x Pokémon collection is currently available to shop at an exclusive pop up in Isetan Shinjuku through September 20. The collection will be openly available to buy on September 23 exclusively on Cdgcdgcdg.com
