Catherine O’Hara’s Fashion

From Delia Deetz to Moira Rose.

POSTED BY ZOE TYLER

Her family confirmed the news in a brief statement early this morning (January 31, 2026), saying she died at home in Los Angeles surrounded by loved ones after a private battle with illness. No further medical details were shared. The entertainment and fashion worlds are in mourning today.

Tributes have already started pouring in from co-stars, designers, and fans who saw her as both a comedic genius and a genuine style icon. O’Hara’s fashion legacy, bold, sculptural, story-driven, and completely unapologetic, will be remembered as much as her roles. She made clothes feel like performance, protection, humor, and personality all at once.

From Delia Deetz’s goth-glam chaos in Beetlejuice to Moira Rose’s armored maximalism on Schitt’s Creek, and her red-carpet moments that mixed high drama with witty edge, she showed that fashion doesn’t have an age limit and doesn’t need to play safe.

You made everything more interesting.

Rest in peace, Catherine.
