Carhartt WIP x Awake NY Reunite for SS23 Capsule

For Spring/Summer 2023, Carhartt WIP has once again collaborated with Awake NY to create an eight-piece capsule collection.

The collection follows the natural evolution of a long-standing friendship between both brands, and sees Carhartt WIP’s rugged, utilitarian silhouettes combined with Awake NY’s signature prints and bold embroidery.

The accompanying campaign was styled by creative director Alastair McKimm and shot by renowned fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti. Known for his signature style of portraiture, Sorrenti’s body of work spans three decades and has seen him shoot for some of fashion’s most respected magazines. The cast draws from Awake NY’s community of creatives, and features the likes of Raul Lopez, Jon Gray, Nevaskimp, Fatima B, Annette Cruz, Ray Morales, Victor Vegas, and legendary hip-hop artist Rakim. 

Carhartt WIP x Awake NY will be released on April 6th. The collection will be available from select Carhartt WIP stores, as well as Carhartt-wip.com and Awakenyclothing.com.
