Browns And Thrift+ Team Up To Offer On-Demand Clothing Donation Service

Browns x Thrift+ step into the circular fashion world with their new service.

POSTED BY AINA JANKUNAS

Browns is known as a leader in fashion and the UK's first multi-brand luxury boutique. The company is partnering with Thrift+ to offer an on-demand clothing donation service. The service makes it easier for customers to donate unwanted clothing and accessories.

So how does it work? Currently only available in the UK, customers order a donation bag from Brownsfashion.com. The customer then packs their pre-loved clothing into the donation bag, drops it off for free at a Thrift+ drop-off point. A postman pick-up option is available for a small fee.

Thrift+ then photographs the product and lists it online. If your pieces sell, you decide how much you would like to donate to charity. You can also redeem Browns credit by selecting this reward within your Thrift+ account.

Joe Metcalfe, Thrift+ co-founder and chief executive spoke about the collaboration: "Teaming up with a brand as iconic as Browns is really exciting for us at Thrift+. Their Conscious initiatives are making big strides in reducing the environmental impact of fashion, and we're delighted to partner with them on the next step - providing customers with an on-demand take-back service."
