A Memorable Adventure: Behind the Scenes with Fjällräven in Stockholm

Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to join an exclusive two-day trip with Swedish outdoor brand Fjällräven, and it was nothing short of an unforgettable experience. The journey took us behind the scenes of the Fjällräven Verkstad in Stockholm, providing an intimate look into the brand’s craftsmanship, sustainability, and outdoor philosophy.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into the Fjällräven family with a thorough introduction to the brand’s history and its commitment to sustainable practices. It was eye-opening to see how deeply the brand cares about preserving nature while making top-quality outdoor gear. Each participant, a group of journalists from across Europe, was gifted a set of Fjällräven essentials: a sturdy rucksack, jacket, cap, and t-shirt. With this gear, we were ready to dive into a genuine Swedish outdoor adventure.

Our first day began with a small trek up a nearby mountain, where we were treated to a classic Swedish “fika” – a coffee break with pastries, surrounded by the stunning Swedish wilderness. There was something so simple yet magical about sitting around a campfire, enjoying coffee and cinnamon buns, while taking in the fresh air and serene views.

As night fell, we were tasked with setting up our Fjällräven tents and preparing dinner using outdoor camping equipment. It was a fun, collaborative effort, as we worked together to cook over an open flame and share stories around the campfire afterward.
