Balenciaga has just unveiled its Fall 2022 campaign that embodies a 90s aesthetic lensed by British photographer Nadia Lee Cohen. The campaign stars some of this generation’s most sought after faces including Bella Hadid, Kit Butler, Aya Nakamura, Zuo Chen, Abdou Diop, Lina Zhang and Inti Wang. The models gently embrace one another whilst making intimate eye contact with the viewer, breaking the fourth wall. 

The campaign sees the models standing in front of a hazy grey backdrop showing off the brand's newly launched Lindsey, Crush and Crocs Bag, as well as the latest iterations of the Le Cagole, XX, Hourglass and Everyday Tote. An assortment of ready-to-wear pieces are also pictured including low-rise pants that bear Balenciaga underwear (a trend we’ve seen with Miu Miu), noughties inspired midriff-baring tops and plush robe coats.

If you’re more of a shoe person than a bag lover don’t worry because the brand also presents the Excavator Boot, the thigh-high Falkon Boot, the Kensington Mule and the Knife Pump. And footwear and denim become one for the appearance of the Five-pocket Pantaloons.
