Awake NY Pays Tribute To Angela Davis In New Fall / Winter Collection

Awake NY has released their Fall / Winter 2020 collection full of vibrant streetwear so you can spend your lazy days in comfort and style.
Starting with a winter wardrobe staple, their cotton hoodies and sweatpants come in an autumnal array of real tree, mustard, teal and brown shades. Keeping in line with the cosy theme, their jackets and knitted cardigans are a tad more quirky: appearing in patterns of hearts, paisley and houndstooth. All the comfy garments have the potential to be dressed up.
Other key pieces include beanies, flannel shirts and six colourful graphic t-shirts but most significantly, the Angela Davis Tee! Reflecting their passion for social diversity and cultural spirit, founder Angelo Baque pays a heartfelt tribute to the American political activist. Her photograph shot by Michelle Vines in 1969 is printed onto four different coloured t-shirts: black, white, coffee and aquatic.
