ATP Atelier Summer 2022: Holiday from Hell

ATP Atelier Releases "A Perfect Vacation," Collection for Summer.

POSTED BY SAMANTHA REINERT

ATP Atelier released their Summer 2022 collection along with a campaign showing how quickly your summer vacation can fall way to frustrating absurdity. The collection sticks to neutrals with pops of jewel tones throughout, with light linen pieces, fringe that flows with the mid-summer breeze, and a focus on new totes and headscarves perfect for the beach.

The campaign invokes those family vacations where the way there is nothing but hot-sticky car seats, a flat tire, the incessant voice of your annoying little brother, and finally the oasis that is the destination. While the beach offers solace from your nosy siblings, friends you realized very quickly are not six-hour car drive friends or the car that left you stranded for hours on end, at least you have everything you need in a beautiful tote. You look dreamy in cloud-colored ribbed leggings, and your eyes are shaded in oversized frames straight from 1960s London. We also see an update to the beloved strappy sandal of yesteryear that is oh-so-lovely, and sticks out from the rest. The collection is a celebration of summer as much as it is a critique.

ATP brand manager, Carin Falk, says, “Every summer we’re force-fed content where people show off their perfect vacations. An endless number of pictures featuring perfect tans, views, and hotel rooms flood our screens.” Falk is right, social media now is nothing but ads and carefully curated comparison traps. Let yourself escape in ATP Atelier, available here and now.
