Ariana Grande is making the most of her Wicked hiatus, treating fans to a deluxe edition of Eternal Sunshine—and just to keep things extra exciting, she’s also dropped a brand-new short film titled Brighter Days Ahead!

A Surprise Treat for Fans

The pop queen first teased the project on March 10, announcing the expanded album edition. But just when fans thought they had enough to freak out over, Grande hit them with another bombshell: a short film, that dropped on March 28.

Directed by Christian Breslauer—the creative mind behind music videos for BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Lisa, plus some of Grande’s own iconic visuals—the film promises to be a cinematic moment.

On March 20, Grande dropped a second teaser, revealing more about Brighter Days Ahead. The film poster shows her rising from debris, hinting at a powerful story of resilience and rebirth—likely tying into the heartbreak themes of Eternal Sunshine.

A Story of Love, Loss & Moving On

For those who haven’t dissected Eternal Sunshine yet, the album takes inspiration from the 2004 film starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, where two ex-lovers erase each other from their memories. On the record, Grande reflects on her own heartbreak, particularly her past with Mac Miller.
