‘Addicted’ to Jorja Smith New Single
The R&B superstar has released first solo of 2021.
After many recent collaborations of 'Come Over' with Popcaan and 'I’m Workin' with Giggs, the British singer-songwriter has now created her own masterpiece for the first time since last summer. After teases on her Instagram page, the video for her new single titled 'Addicted' has finally been released. A combination of both soul and passion, Jorja returns with warm melodies that definitely have our hearts racing.
The song tells the story of desiring attention from someone who’s not reciprocating the same feelings. Jorja’s previous songs have delved deep into all areas of love, such as with hit single ‘Teenage Fantasy’ and the heart wrenching ‘Don’t Watch Me Cry’.
Not only is Jorja known for having the voice of an angel, but she also serves killer looks to match at every possible chance. Take the Harper’s Bazaar 2019 Women of the Year awards, wearing a Zuhair Murad gown that would definitely make Princess Belle proud.
Although being filmed on the webcam of her laptop, this time is no different, as she dazzles in a white mesh bodysuit from Mugler while shooting the latest music video.
Consisting of dancing and a number of outfit changes, filmmaker Savanah Leaf helped create the visuals which celebrate finding the fun in being stuck at home on your own. “The video is multiple versions of me singing the song; having fun dressing up, not trying to be too serious and just giving myself more freedom,” says Jorja. Let’s be honest, we can all relate to having a party for one every Saturday night when we should be hitting the town.
