Acne Studios Just Expanded Its Fragrance Collection

As long as it smells nice, I'm happy. But Acne Studios has somehow convinced me that my shower routine could be part of my fragrance wardrobe.

The brand is expanding its collaboration with Frédéric Malle with two new products, a Body Wash and Body Milk, both built around the same distinctive scent as its debut fragrance from 2024. If you're already obsessed with layering fragrances, this feels like a pretty dreamy addition.

Instead of releasing a completely new scent, Acne Studios is letting its original fragrance live in a different way.

The Body Wash creates a rich lather that leaves behind a subtle version of the fragrance, while the Body Milk adds moisture with shea butter and natural oils before locking in that same comforting scent. Personally, I love the idea of a fragrance lasting longer because it's layered from the very first step rather than sprayed on at the end.

The original fragrance was developed by perfumer Suzy Le Helley alongside Acne Studios creative director Jonny Johansson and Frédéric Malle, and these new products continue that same vision.

The scent has always balanced soft florals with warmer, unexpected notes, which feels very Acne Studios to me. It's clean without being predictable, and minimal without feeling cold. Even the campaign photography by Carlijn Jacobs has that dreamy, slightly surreal mood the brand does so well.

I never really thought of body care as a fashion purchase, but launches like this are changing my mind.
