The Nike Zoom Double Stacked Drops With Maximum Impact
Save the date, July 2nd.
The sneaker market shows no sign of slowing down, with new colorways and silhouettes being released almost everyday. Because of this, it’s time for sportswear giant Nike to get more experimental in their offerings outside of ISPA.The latest release seems to do just that. The Nike Zoom Double Stacked features not one but two layers of Zoom Air as it attempts to blend the gap between the brands running sneakers and their collaboration sneakers with Sacai.
The Nike Zoom Double Stacked arrives with maximum impact starting with the single colorway, a neon yellow dubbed ‘Barely Volt’ that features across the entire sneaker. Overlayed accents on the heel tab and the laces also feature in the neon shade. The Zoom Air sole provides comfort to the entire foot with one layer for the forefoot and a wedge-like two layer sole on the heel. Despite the shoe being maximal, the Nike branding seems to be minimal across the shoe. With a miniature embroidered check on the lateral and an unfinished TPU check featuring across the arc towards the toe.
If you’re looking for a bright neon summer sneaker then the Nike Zoom Double Stacked might be the one, but the double also applies to the price as these sneakers will drop for $230 USD on July 2nd at Nike.com
