Yara Shahidi Becomes Chanel’s Brand Ambassador

One of the most fashionable actresses of Gen-Z, Yara Shahidi has immersed herself into the world of beauty. Yara is not only known for her starring roles on the small and big screen, but she is also an enthusiastic activist for youth, women, and diversity. To add to her list of successes, Yara is now a brand ambassador for Chanel.

Lucia Pica who is Chanel’s global creative makeup and color designer meets Yara Shahidi to master the art of glowy skin using Palette Essentielle, the must-have complexion palette for the perfect canvas. There are six shades available to suit different skin shades and on Yara, Lucia used the shade 185- Caramel for a dewy finish and fresh-faced look. 

The palette includes a concealer, highlighter and lip and cheek color. Lucia begins with applying the concealer to correct and smooth out imperfections. She then applies highlighter to the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose and cupid’s bow to create a glowy complexion. Lastly, using the lip and cheek color, she dots and blends the color onto the lips and cheeks using her fingertips, creating the ultimate radiant look.
