Wood Wood's Spring/Summer 2017 Collection Channels '90s Skater Style
Celebrating its 15th anniversary, Copenhagen-based label Wood Wood recently unveiled their Spring/Summer 2017 collection, and the looks are eclectic, unpredictable and a total casual-chic dream. Fusing elements of streetwear and high fashion, the new range channels its founders' roots in the worlds of '90s skate and hip-hop and puts a Scandinavian spin on a laid-back California vibe.
The collection is entitled 'Concrete,' paying tribute to the architectural material that has been repurposed into a playground for skaters. The beautiful, washed-out color palette softens the starkness of the line's silhouettes, and there's a broad offering for both men and women. Following the '90s inspiration, the collection uses typical detailing of the era, including spaghetti straps, cut-off pants and square necklines. As always, the brand juxtaposes modern fits with with retro touches to create an eye-catching, wearable collection. Browse the gallery below to check out the entire line-up.
