Los Angeles based Samsara Collections, has Seapunk style surfing via Silicon Valley, on a wifi powered wave. Wear your google glam heart on your sleeve, in unisex collections of street wear, covered in vibrant digital prints. Samsara’s SS15 collection “R.I.P. Internet” features leggings, sports bras, board shorts, vests, socks and arm warmers, covered in cyber-punk collages of big brand parody logos (“Microgoth”), rapidly becoming retro Windows ‘click ok’ boxes, and viral internet imagery. Founded in 2014 by Designer Tarpley Brooks Jones, Samsara’s brand of ‘interdimensional streetwear’ creates pieces for the “cyber souls of tomorrow” part storytelling of what has been – through the millennial mix of images in the prints – and part future fusion, where tech and textiles meet.
