We Recap The Asics Paris Fashion Week Sneaker Event

London Fashion Week is kicking off and to celebrate we’re throwing it back to the Asics sneaker event, held as a warmup for Paris Fashion Week 2020. The exclusive insiders’ party was a fusion of fashion, music and art and celebrated the Asics brand for its innovation and heritage.
Sneakerheads and street style fans gathered in crowds outside La Gaîté Lyriqué in the centre of Paris for the ever-growing annual event. The space was transformed with visual installations and the soundtrack to the night was provided by DJ Bambz, Zoovie Kazuyoshi and headlining act, Tommy Genesis.
Asics debuted their newly released GEL-NANDI 360 sneakers in new colorways and also launched a sick collaboration with London based brand rokh. The 6-piece sneaker collab was a highlight of the night and we caught up with designer Rok Hwang, who told us that teaming up with Asics was “a very organic” partnership.
