Victoria Beckham Has Collaborated With Reebok For New Athleticwear Collection
High fashion meets streetwear.
Victoria Beckham takes her training (and fashion) seriously: she trains every day of the week for 2 hours with a combination of the treadmill and the Tracy Anderson Method. So when her latest collaboration with Reebok launched this month, it’s evident to see that she’s put her training expertise into every piece of the collection. Speaking of the new collab she said: “Every time I launch something new, it’s because it’s something I want in my life”.
The sneaker in this collection is a sunset-orange sock-style dream. Also available in a more neutral camel tone, the sneaker has a leg which extends a few inches above the ankle and a new logo, combining the VB and Reebok logos together. She said of the sneaker: “I’ve wanted to put a trainer in my collection for a long, long time, but its something that’s very specialized – I had to do it with a brand that the technical experience and the know-how”. Which of course, Reebok definitely have.
Although VB’s 90s Spice Girl Days were filled with high-neck Reebok tops and chunky sneakers, this is a very modern collection. Sleek and minimal, the extensive range includes functional sports bras, seamless leggings and a pair of basketball inspired trousers. This is the perfect gym-to-errand-to-brunch capsule collection which all the pieces working seamlessly together.
