Vault by Vans x Noon Goons
Get ready for a SoCal summer.
Vans is teaming up with LA-based menswear brand Noon Goons to bring out your inner surfer dude. The duo have worked together to rework three of Vans' most iconic styles - in classic navy, white and black.
It might be the first venture into footwear for Noons Goons, but it should come as no surprise. They've been looking to get into the shoe market for a while - and founder Kurt Narmore says that he always knew that he wanted to work with Vans.
'I grew up wearing Vans,' he revealed. 'And all of my friends surf for them.'
Both brands embody elements of surf-bum, punk and skater culture - in short, nothing they make would look out of place on Venice Beach. But no matter where you are, their latest offering can at least make you feel as if you're basking in the California sun.
The new collab is set to elevate three of Vans’ classic shoes, incorporating luxe materials, intricate embroidery and subtle details that perfectly reflect Noon Goons’ punk-inspired, skater-boy style.
The Vault by Vans x Noon Goons SK8-Hi comes with snakeskin-embossed white leather, broken up with black stripes and a Noon Goons logo on the heel.
The second pair, the Vault by Vans x Noon Goons Style 36 (Old Skool) mirrors the first, reversing the colorway with black snakeskin leather and white stripes.
And the collection wouldn’t be complete without a Vans slip-on, a shoe that's become synonymous with California cool. The slip-on has been remastered countless times, but this time it comes in navy velvet and an all-black sole. Rounded out with an unexpected leopard print insole, the pair is perfectly matched with Noon Goons’ Leopard zip shirt from their Spring apparel collection.
Each new shoe retails for $115 USD, and will be available on Noon Goons website and selected Vans retailers worldwide.
