Vans OG Era LX by Wood Wood
When Copenhagen meets Cali.
Iconic Copenhagen brand, Wood Wood has joined Vans in yet another collaborative project to recreate a special edition of the Vans OG Era model.
Debuting in 1976, the Vans Era model became famous for its simple design, padded collar and eye-catching color combinations. So, no wonder it became the shoe of choice for a generation of skateboarders, athletes and youth culture.
Wood Wood’s collaboration pays homage to the typical style of Vans whilst adding modernised elements to create a cool take on an old classic.
The sneaker is designed from the OG version of the lowtop canvas sneaker. With a chunky sole, the VANS® FANS Era features a clean/ off-white palette with vibrant red Vans flag branding and bold, imperfect printing on the outsole. Effortlessly capturing the DIY spirit of fan culture and representing Vans laid back, California kinda cool style.
Celebrating fan culture and teenage obsession, the Wood Wood capsule collection also includes T-shirts, raincoat, sweatshirts, bag, cap and of course, the VANS® FANS OG Era LX.
If you want to get your hands on a pair, the VANS® FANS OG Era LX will be available at woodwood.com on Thursday, August 30, before global release at select retailers on Thursday, September 6.
