Vans Give Their Old Skool And Slip On A Hot Change Up

Color changing sneaker technology.

POSTED BY HANNAH MASSEY

Vans have released their latest collection which sees two of the brands most classic silhouettes reinvented; the Old Skool and Slip-On.

After becoming well established in 1966 for their simple designs and heavily linked to skate culture, their new releases have reissued the classic designs in new colorways. Each sneaker from the “Thermochrome” capsule features thermochromic, allowing the shoes to change color temporarily when exposed to heat.

The Old Skool features a canvas and suede upper, re-enforced toecaps, padded collars, and the classic waffle outsole and checkerboard print, while the Slip-On also in the iconic checkerboard print and the waffle outsole features elastic side accents.

Priced at $65 for the Old Skool and $60 for the Slip-On,  these color changing kicks are available now online and selected retailers.
