Vans Expands “Foot The Bill” Program Into Europe
Buy shoes to support shops in need of a little financial help.
Simply put, we as a world did not have an infrastructure in place to handle a global pandemic. Hey, it had been over 100 years since the last one. As we wallow in the mire of our uncertain existence, we’ve often been relegated to having large corporations step up to try and help people out. It’s better than nothing, we suppose. The iconic skateboarding-adjacent brand Vans, known for shoes that were worn by approximately 87% of people to ever go to the Warped Tour, has been one of those brands, thanks to their “Foot the Bill” promotion that they just expanded into Europe.
With "Foot the Bill" shops in need of a little financial help during these trying times where they can’t be open to customers can upload designs and patterns to the Vans Customs platform for shoes that can be purchased by people online. The proceeds then go to the shop in question, helping them bring in a little income, and get a little marketing done to boot. Foot the Bill started in the United States back in April but is now available in Spain, France, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, and one shop in the Netherlands. Check it out if you want to help.
