Vans Presents "These Projects Are Ads For Creativity"
The advertising campaign celebrates creativity in all forms.
Vans “OFF THE WALL,” has always been known for their clothing and shoes that glimmer and shine with creativity, for skaters and non-skaters alike. With that in mind, Vans presents “These Projects Are Ads For Creativity,” an artist-first brand campaign. Celebrating creativity and uniqueness is especially important in today’s society with social media.
In this artist focused campaign, Vans had the goal to empower artists to bring their visions to life. Artists from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Hong Kong and even London, showcased their art in all different types of mediums.
Eloise Dörr
An across the pond friend, Eloise Dörr, a skateboarder and artist—features skateboarding characters of all sizes. For her project, she brought to life, a triptych of painted skateboards. San Francisco artist Rewna Beshue, showcased her out of this world talent with her time and space themed paintings. Vans is certainly accomplishing their goal of showing the world how talented young artists can truly be.
Vans global executive creative director stated, “That’s what Vans is all about—to not just talk about creative expression, but to actively champion it through our products, platforms and campaigns.” Artist or not, skateboarder or not, Vans has a special something for everyone.
