We Can’t Open Tumblr Without Seeing Jakob Hetzer

JAKOB HETZER is becoming a rising fashion designer in the fashion scene with his in 2014 founded self-named label. Only 19 years old the young designer from Detroit/Michigan, but now living in Hamburg/Germany, is everywhere to be found on Tumblr. We can’t open the page without seeing his latest collection “Streetsmart” being reblogged by everyone and their mother. And we see why: his style may fall into the streetwear category, but it’s still pretty distinctive. It’s high end but at the same time low end approach is influencing the shit out of the whole urban scene right now. Jakob explains his idea of fashion:
“You will encounter moments and times that will put dirt or even damage to your clothes. Let it happen. Make it happen. Let your clothes live and let the experience become visual.”
