Punk Blast With The New Titus X Suicidal Tendencies Collaboration
Way back (circa 1980s) before Tony Hawk was ever a household name, Germany’s “Home of Skateboarding” Titus started decking out skaters with the threads and tools of the trade, while across the pond, Venice Beach maestros of Crossover Metal / Skate Punk, Suicidal Tendencies, provided the international soundtrack to the pioneer kick, push generation.
Suicidal Tendencies frontman Mike Muir said: “Music and skateboarding together, is a very powerful thing” and we can’t disagree, but only add that apparently it’s also as natural a thing as smooth concrete is to a fine set of wheels; if the latest collab between Titus and Suicidal Tendencies is anything to go by.
Available online via the Titus website, the monochrome collection of t-shirts, hoodies, snapbacks, patches, and boards fuses ST’s song titles and imagery on the Titus standard wearable, and crucially comfy, skate-friendly, pieces: check out the “Possessed to Skate” muscle tee (after the ultimate skate anthem of the same name) and the ‘Titus Lance ST Collabo T-Shirt’ inspired by the band’s earliest designs and drawn by legendary Pro-skater and Artist, Lance Mountain. Just two of the stand out pieces in a Münster based monster of a collab, that has us executing our best tricks to get a piece of the action, on and off the rails.
