The UNDEFEATED X Nike Air Max 90 Get’s A Stealthy Black Makeover

Los Angeles-based sneaker boutique UNDEFEATED is following last year’s Nike release with yet another collaboration featuring the Air Max 90. The new iteration of the classic silhouette comes in three different colorways: you can choose pacific blue, black and platinum white (I’ll have one of each, please).
The “Black” version of the Air Max 90 was inspired by the ‘90s New York Street scene’s adoption of outdoor gear, it features an updated blend of different materials on the upper, such as nubuck leather instead of the typical rugged leather. Additional modifications include the restructuring of the sneaker’s paneling, an elongated swoosh, as well as minimized padding in the tongue and heel to give the shoes a sleek look. Rounding out the pair’s design is UNDEFEATED’s branding on the tongue tab and heel, as well as the contrasting “Rush Pink” Insole.
