The North Face x Cecilie Bahnsen Return With a Dreamy Take on Technical Outerwear

Where technical precision meets dreamlike couture for FW25.

POSTED BY FIZZY STAFF

The North Face and Cecilie Bahnsen are back for round two — and this time, they’re taking performance wear into full couture territory. First seen on the runway at Paris Fashion Week FW25, the collaboration redefines what it means to be warm and elevated.

Merging Bahnsen’s sculptural, hyper-feminine aesthetic with The North Face’s mountaineering DNA, the collection delivers voluminous silhouettes, soft quilting, and functional details that actually look chic in the city (or on the cliffs of Sweden, where the campaign was shot). Photographed by Ellen Fedors and styled by Emelie Johansson, the visuals capture the tension between raw nature and refined craftsmanship — a balance that defines the collab.

Expect reimagined icons like the Himalayan Down Parka with a cinched waist, a quilted down skirt that feels straight off a couture runway, and the classic Denali Fleece turned feminine. Add in wool base layers, delicate crossbody bags inspired by vintage climbing ropes, and new earthy colorways of the Verto Boots and Traction Mules — and you’ve got outerwear that does more than keep you warm.

As Bahnsen puts it, it’s about strength and softness — clothes that move with you and make a statement while doing it. The result? A second drop that feels like poetry in motion — equal parts mountain and muse.

The North Face x Cecilie Bahnsen FW25 collection drops October 30 on ceciliebahnsen.com, selected The North Face stores, and limited retailers.
