The North Face Presents NSE - Built to Explore. Born to Disrupt
The campaign is exclusively accompanied with Kam-BU’s new single “Live-O”
Introducing The North Face’s first NSE drop of the season inspired by the all-night hedonism of the early 2000s. Exploration takes many forms and for this iteration, The North Face are celebrating the rebel sounds of quiet acts of originality; amplified by London artist Kam-BU.
Further redefining the aesthetic of exploratory fashion, NSE Drop 1 breathes new life into what is already one of The North Face’s most sought-after capsules. Through punchy new colorways emblazoned onto iconic pieces combined with the laser-sharp tongue of artist and climate activist Kam-BU, The North Face has created a standout moment of blending the city with nature to inspire all to Never Stop Exploring.
The campaign is exclusively accompanied with Kam-BU’s new single “Live-O” and spellbinding visuals; a harmonious demonstration on the endless possibilities within the art of exploration. Kam-BU is an up-and-coming artist and climate activist whose sound nods to UK rap, rave culture and his Jamaican roots. You can also find Kam on his allotment or in local green spaces working with the London Wildlife Trust. “Live-O” marries these two aspects of his identity together, creating a rave-ready anthem about the reigniting of adventure through the power of music, an ode to ‘free party’ culture and forest raves.
On the inspiration behind “Live-O”, Kam stated: “Live-O is a rave-ready anthem about the reigniting of adventure through the power of music, an ode to ‘free party’ culture and forest raves. The industrial sound blended tongue & cheek lyricism pointing towards the lost way of myself and the times. However there’s something about the dance which has and always will be liberating"
NSE Drop 1 is available to purchase now at Thenorthface.co.uk and in select stores.
