Compared to Solange, Ariana Grande or Dua Lipa, emanating the vibes of early Kelly Rowland and Aaliyah, Taura Lamb is a name to remember. Her debut single ‘Lucky Girls’ came out in January 2020 but now, with ‘Post Your Body’ and sultry, smoky, smooth R&B, she’s opening a new chapter.
Taura pours her heart out in the song as it was written amidst the breakup as an expression of desire for honesty and real conversations. She explains: “You can text someone as much as you want, you can call, you can even write a letter, but nothing is going to be the same as communicating in person. All I wanted was to be able to talk through our problems with the added bonus of a hug, so with this track I’m (half) joking that if you’re going to write a letter, post your body with it, please.’
